Winning International Recognition for a Regional Firm

Challenge

A Hong Kong-based firm approached us to help them establish a strong presence in the international press. Though renowned in Hong Kong, they were little known outside the region.

Strategy

Future–Future developed a compelling narrative about a recently completed project by them – a church in a high-rise, which is typical for Hong Kong but a potential point of interest for the international media. We created a launch strategy to win global press coverage for the project.

Execution

We developed the press release content, pitched exclusives to select publications, and rolled out the project across digital platforms and global media outlets. We booked several speaking engagements at universities and conferences to highlight the Principal’s work in the region to an international audience.

Results

In 6 months, we placed 153 articles about the firm and its work published in 18 countries, secured an exhibition for them at the Venice Biennale, won a lecture at CTBUH, and brokered a deal for a monograph for the firm to be published by Thames and Hudson.
